As we see more and more smartphone manufacturers adapting to the new curved screen trend, it is safe to assume that going curvy is the way to go in the near future but not all curves are welcome.
The image seen here is a concept phone design by artist Micheal Muleba. Called the Microsoft Lumia 888, the concept phone was given a curved screen but instead of curving around the edges or curving inwards, the artist gave the smartphone an outward curve design.
We got to admit that it does look good but the design is not very practical. The outward curve will only make thing harder for the users. It won’t fit in your jeans and it won’t fit comfortably on your hands.
So while we would like to see more curvaceous smartphone in the future, this kind of curve is not really what we are looking for right now.
