It has been close to a year since T-Mobile launched its very first LTE service. Today, the US carrier giant looks set to make America 4G friendly.
The next move that T-Mobile is looking to take is upgrading all their 2G/EDGE networks to that of 4G. Previously, the telco only focused on populous areas and cities. Now, T-Mobile is looking to extend their reach to every corner of the US.
The carrier is currently in fourth place when it comes to providing wireless services. Despite that fact, T-Mobile has an LTE coverage that reaches to 210 million Americans. All that is left are the rural and suburban areas.
It is all good news for T-Mobile customers in the US. This suburban direction will definitely give T-Mobile the upper hand against its competitors.
