For fans of Super Smash Bros 4 the release date in October will not be here soon enough. Fans cannot wait to find out which characters are going to be taking part in the game. In the past we have seen the likes of Mega Man, Greninja and Pac Man appear. Fans are wondering whether the old favourites such as Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers and Ness will be in the game as up to now they haven’t been shown in the footage for the game.
It was said a new challenger is going to be revealed, however not on Nintendo Direct. It will be revealed on the Smash Bros Facepage page. There weren’t any big clues as to who we could expect however IBT believes that it could be Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers, Jigglypuff, Lucas, Meta Knight or Ness, we believe.
Some legacy Super Smash Bros 4 characters have been in the game since N64 while others came into the game with Brawl or Melee. Characters such as Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon are a given and so revealing their return wouldn’t be anything special. So it could be that Nintendo are introducing a character to Super Smash Bros 4 that we have to play.
A new third party character could be coming into the game, however the chances of a Nintendo fighter coming is higher than the chances of it being a foreign character. Who would you like to see head into Super Smash Bros 4?
