The Google Nexus 5 is expected to be announced sometime in the next few days by Google. However it doesn’t look like carriers will be waiting and we have already seen numerous leaks of fully stocked warehouses with the new device.
Even the folks over at Wind Mobile in Canada have gone so far as to post a Google Nexus 5 pre-order page for the device and with it include the official specs. Now if you’ve gotten a gander at them you will know the Nexus 5 is a beast of a phone.
Unfortunately for Verizon users, hopes of a Verizon Nexus 5 look thin given that the leaked Nexus 5 units seem to lack the neccessary bands. But if you’re with another CDMA carrier, Sprint, your chances may be better.
Today @evleaks posted the image above along with the statement, “Coming to Sprint”. Now that’s a Google Nexus 5 no doubt so we may be looking at a Sprint Nexus 5 in the near future. What do you think folks? Will Sprint be luckier than Verizon?
