Apple iPhone 5S users on the Sprint network are in for some great news. Now, they can roam around the country, without having to break away from 4G network coverage.
This is confirmed after Sprint signed agreements with 12 smaller carriers to expand its LTE zones in the US. This would also mean that 34 million Americans will also get to enjoy Sprint’s 4G speed.
The carriers involved include C Spire Wireless, Carolina West Wireless, Flat Wireless, Illinois Valley Cellular, Inland Cellular, James Valley Telecommunications, Nex-Tech Wireless, nTelos, Phoenix Wireless, SI Wireless dba MobileNation, SouthernLINC Wireless, and VTel Wireless. This also translates to 325,000 square miles from 23 different states that will get 4G coverage.
All in all, the deal sealed by Sprint will definitely benefit its iPhone 5S users. The 5S community on Sprint will have a bigger smile than those on different networks.
