Sony made a name for themselves for creating some of the best smartphone cameras in the market but their competitor caught up to them fast. Without a standout features, the Sony Xperia Z6 was never going to make it and Sony probably knew it as well.
The fact now is that nobody really knows if there is ever going to be a Sony Xperia Z6 or if we just saw the last of the Z Series last year. Mot poeple seems to believe that Sony might have killed off the Sony Xperia Z6 and we can see why they would want to do so.
The Sony Xperia Z5 failed to impress when it does not seem like Sony had any other new features that they could offer on the Z6 that would make the 2016 model stand out among the sea of competitors.
Instead of focusing on a device that is bound to fail, they might have decided to start fresh and focus on the new Sony Xperia X, XA and X Premium. With little to no details about the Sony Xperia Z6, things are not looking too good for the Z Series right now.
