Sony is certainly true to its words when the company announced that they are no longer abiding by the annual release pattern. This was proven after the Xperia Z3 got released only months after the Z2. The arrival of the Z3 also brought along new rumours on the future Z4.
While Sony might have yet to even speak of the Z4, a leak has surfaced to give the world a sneak peek at what the smartphone has got to offer. The leak revealed that the Z4 will come with a 5.5” QHD screen, together with a curved 20.7MP rear camera.
The Z4 will also offer more power as it is said to run on the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.8GHz. This is paired to 4GB of RAM and the internal storage will be a minimum of 32GB.
Connectivity will also be upgraded to Cat.6 LTE which ensures that downloading speed can reach up to 300Mbps and Bluetooth 4.1.
While it all sounds great and realistic, there is still no telling if the leak is true or simply a hoax. As such, it is best to take this with a pinch of salt. If the rumours are right, the world will be witnessing the arrival of the Xperia Z4 at next-years MWC.
