Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 users have every right to celebrate today as they have finally get their hands on the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Sony launched the highly anticipated update earlier today and the firmware is rolled out OTA.
Users of the Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 should have received the update prompt by now. However, in case the prompt has yet to surface, users can manually search for the update through the Software Update tab listed in the devices’ settings page.
For those that have updated their smartphone to the latest Lollipop OS, they are pleased with how the firmware turned out to be. This is because the version rolled out by Sony is free of issues and it makes the long wait forgivable and worthwhile.
