It is clear now that Sony is slowly moving away from the Xperia Z Series is going to focus on their new X-Series for now. However, will the change of name be enough to convince the people to consider Sony once more?
Sony made their mark in the smartphone industry when they started offering smartphones that came with great specs and even better camera features but Sony just couldn’t keep the lead as their rivals soon caught up to them.
The last flagship, the Sony Xperia Z5 did not have much to show and the sales proves that the consumers are slowly giving up on them. There were some people that were still hoping that Sony would turn this around this year but it does not look like that is going to happen.
The new Sony Xperia XZ which many assume is the successor for the Sony Xperia Z5 will be coming in with a small 5.2inch display and runs on a Snapdragon 820 processor. Sony has also revealed that the new device will retail for $699,99. Would you pay that much for the Xperia XZ?
