It is updates galore if you are an Xperia user. Sony, today, revealed that they are rolling out the highly anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat to the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual.
The KitKat OS arrived with tons of features such as transparent status and nav bars, white status bar icons, cloud printing, immersive mode, color emoji support, new Location menu, or full screen album and movie art in the lock screen, along with the new Xperia UI that’s a reminiscent of PlayStation 4′s interface.
Aside from that, the KitKat tweaks the Status Bar and the Quick Settings panel, and updates Sony’s native apps such as Messaging, MyXoeria, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, TrackID TV, Sony Select, or Smart Social Camera.
Then again, the update is 500MB in size which is why we recommend users to use a Wi-FI for the update. Soon, this same update will be reaching out to the Xperia E1, Xperia M2, and Xperia M2 Dual. Users can check for the update by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check now.
