2014 Honda CR-V Review: Another Dull Redesign

2014 Honda CR-V Review: Yet Another Dull Redesign

We have seen the Honda CR-V and it is just an upgraded version of the older SUV apparently. Honda chose to give the vehicle just a small makeover instead of a big change. There isn’t a lot to get excited about with it.

The CR-V is a good car to drive, however it does happen to be one of the most boring. It does what it needs to do, but it doesn’t offer anything by way of fun to drive.

This could be a good thing or a bad thing. The good thing is that it is sturdy and it is reliable. However the bad is that both of these things are not adventurous and it can offer a drive that is boring. The 2.2 litre engine is large enough to power the car easily and there is the choice of a petrol engine. It handles well and the steering is easy, and it seems to do quite well off the road. However you might not want to go too far off road with it.

The interior finish is superb and the makeover has brought with it some finishing touches that are refined and offers things that some of the more premium brands don’t offer. The car does feel sturdy and it should be able to deal with abuse from children with plenty of energy. Another bonus is the boot space, which is huge.

The Honda CR-V comes in with a price tag starting at $30, 995.
