Not long from now, Sony will be rolling out the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update to the Xperia SP. X, T, TX and V. Earlier today, the Japanese smartphone manufacturer confirmed that they will also be give these device some great features from the Xperia Sirius and Z1.
The first major addition is the Background Defocus and Timeshift Video for the camera app. Also, the devices will get a new looking Smart Social app. At the moment, the smart app’s Close All button is grouped together with Recent Apps and Smart Backlight. With the update, the Close All button will be all by itself.
Aside from that, the Xperia SP, X, T, TX and V will also get the features coming with the KitKat. This includes more support for calls along with double tapping to wake and white balance.
As for the Xperia Sirius, the smartphone will be more vocal as it gets some upgrades with its audio system. Sony revealed that they will be adding S Force Audio and Clear Audio with XLoud engine into the Sirius.
At the moment, the Android 4.4.4 KitKat is only available for the Sony Xperia Z2. Soon it will be reaching out to other devices, including the old Z1 smartphone.
