Both the Snapdragon 810 and Exynos 7420 are two of the most powerful SoCs in the world right now. This is because they are built on 8-cores and offers the fastest processing speed around. However, a new benchmark test revealed that the older Snapdragon 620 is more powerful than the duo.
The benchmark test was conducted on Geekbench and it saw the 620 bagging a total of 1513 points. This is more than the Exynos 7420, which scored 1486 points and the Snapdragon 810 which scored 1227 points.
Of course, it is worth noting that the benchmark test was operated only on one core. Even so, things were not so bad in the multi-core test. The Snapdragon 620 scored an amazing 4051 points. This is not far behind the Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 810. They both scored 5284 points and 4424 points respectively.
So if you are in a market looking for a new Android smartphone, you don’t have to worry about getting one that is powered by the Snapdragon 620.
