It seems that all the cameras are pointed to the recently released Samsung Galaxy S5 and most other smartphones are left in the dark. It is true that the Galaxy S5 is a great device but it is expensive as well.

Samsung is aware that not everyone can own the Galaxy S5 due to financial reasons. This is why the Korean manufacturer also released the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini 2014. This successor of the S3 Mini 2012 can be the perfect cheap alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The device is called the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition and it is much more powerful than its predecessor. The smartphone has a 4” Super AMOLED display that offers 800x480p resolution.

Under the casing, the S3 Mini Value Edition runs on the 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor with 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD slot and 1500mAh battery. More importantly, the smartphone is operated by the Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS>

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition is in fact, already released on the Netherlands. It carries a price tag of $250 which is a steal. This is considering the power that comes with it. On the other hand, there is no clue to when the S3 Mini Value Edition goes global.
