Earlier today, Google updated the Play Store with a couple of new wearables. They are the LG G Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live.
As exciting as it is for the consumers, they didn’t jump to make a purchase straightaway. This is due to the dilemma faced by the masses on which smartwatch is able to offer the better battery life.
Between the two, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live has the worse battery life. Its 300mAh battery is able to make the device last for about a day before going dead. This is probably due to the many features that Samsung packed inside the Galaxy Gear Live.
Among them is the heart-rate monitor, wireless connectivity and the constantly listening microphone. The LG G Watch does not have these features which explain why the 400mAh battery on it can last much longer.
Then again, most of the consumers prefer to wait for the Moto 360. There is a lot of rumoured greatness coming to it and there is no harm in delaying their decision.
