In a matter of days from now, Samsung will be launching he all-new Galaxy S6 and the smartphone is focused on creating a new benchmark and brand identity in the mobile industry. Today, we are going to compare the S6 with the LG G Flex 2 to see which of the two is better.
Retailing at $699.60, the G Flex 2 is so much cheaper than the S6. Since the latter comes with fixed storage space, prices vary on the storage size of the device. The 32GB S6 is valued at $855, the 64GB model is priced at $970 and the 128GB model retails at $1,085.
Being a G Flex 2, the smartphone comes with a curved display that can be flattened when on a straight surface. The device is thinner and it also has self-healing technologies. The Galaxy S6, on the other hand, is built with a metal case that is finished with glass for its over-coat. The S6 basically looks more premium than the G Flex 2.
Between the two, the G Flex 2 offers a larger display that develops 403ppi. As impressive as that may sound, it is nowhere near as good as the S6’s 557ppi developed by its 5.1” screen.
Even on cameras, the S6 is rated to be better than the G Flex 2 and this is mostly owed to the larger pixel counts. The Galaxy S6 has a 16MP rear and 5MP front shooter. The G Flex 2, on the other hand, only has a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front shooter.
While the difference between the two is not by a big mile, it is unfortunate to see that the S6 has a hefty price tag with it. Surely, this will make consumers think twice before pre-booking the Samsung Galaxy S6.
