MWC has finally happened and it saw the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge getting unveiled alongside the original Samsung Galaxy S6. Both smartphones are thought to be identical to each other except for the fact that it the Edge has that extra single-sided curved display.
In reality, the S6 Edge actually has more functions and features too. For starters, there is the Night Clock mode that turns your smartphone into a desk clock. This basically makes the Edge displays the current time whenever it is resting on a flat surface on standby mode.
The other function is known as Ticker Tape. This tool utilizes the curved display by displaying the notifications and news from the RSS feed on the side-panel.
Finally, there is the Caller Haste function where users of the Edge functions will get the ability to assign 5 different colours to a contact. When the contact calls the user, the sided display will glow in that assigned colour.
