Samsung Galaxy S6: Battery Worries Grow, Processing Units Shrink

In less than a week from now, MWC will return and this year, the event is going to play host to the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S6. Even so, not everyone is excited for the smartphone upon learning that the battery capacity has been reduced to 2600mAH instead of 2800mAh on the S5.

Well, there is actually no certainty on the matter yet and they are best viewed as rumours. Samsung didn’t deny that they will be utilizing the smaller capacity battery but made no indications on which smartphone will feature it.

For all we know, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to be a big step up from the old Samsung Galaxy S, thus, it needs to have a larger batter. On the other hand, the 2600mAh power pack can easily be developed for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Furthermore, Samsung revealed their desire to avoid the Snapdragon processor and rely on their own processors. The company claims that they have just developed a smaller and more powerful Exynos processor and it will aid in reducing power consumption.

So whatever the outcome is, consumers need not worry as the Samsung Galaxy S6 is still going to be performer when released.
