The former has a CPU of 2.26Ghz with 4 cores and 2,048MB RAM and has a camera of 8MP and 1.3MP while the latter comes with a 2,5GHz CPU, is 4 cores and offers 2,048MB of RAM, with a camera of 16MP and 2.1MP.
The Nexus 5 offers 16GB of storage and the Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with 16GB and can be expanded to 128GB.
