Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD: Legendary Androids

The Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Motorola DROID Razr Maxx HD are two great devices that are still powerful today. Both devices are considered to be a cheaper alternative for those who have trouble affording the new Samsung Galaxy S5.

Between the two, the Razr Maxx HD is cheaper with its $164. The Samsung Galaxy S4 on the other hand is priced at $425. The funny thing is that, both devices are being sold by carriers for $199.

The Razr Maxx HD runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a screen size of 4.7” which offers 312ppi. The perk of getting the Maxx HD is the battery life. The smartphone is equipped with a whopping 3,300mAh power supply to keep the device functioning for days.

Under the hood, Motorola equipped the Razr Maxx HD with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front shooter.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a totally different smartphone than the Razr Maxx HD. It runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI. Its 4.99” Super AMOLED screen produces 441ppi which is spectacular.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 runs on the 1.6GHz octa-core CPU with 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter. Spec-wise, the S4 is a stronger option than the Motorola DROID Razr Maxx HD.

Nonetheless, both devices are great in their own way. If energy is your priority, then you should go DROID. If not, then stick to the Galaxy S4 from Samsung.
