The Android 4.4.3 KitKat is now out. After so much complains on the bug that has been leeching the battery of Android-operated devices, Google came out yesterday to announce that the update is now obtainable.
Of course, the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 were the first couple of devices in plan for the new KitKat. However, it is the Google Play Edition devices that are already enjoying the 4.4.3 OS. The update is now available OTA for the HTC One M7, M8 and the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Things kicked off earlier today which make the Android 4.4.3 the fastest roll out to date. Both HTC and Samsung have certainly worked hard to bring out the stock Android update quickly. The former even went as far as publishing the source code for both the M7 and M8 GPE smartphones.
This is one of the perks of getting a Google Play Edition smartphone as users will be among the first to get updated. Users can personally check out for the update by going to Software Update on their device’s settings.
