Mass Effect 4: Offensive Or Hilarious?

April fool’s is a day when all pranks break loose. The problem is that sometimes, some pranks went overboard and it turned offensive instead of being funny. During this year’s April fool’s day, Frostbite Engine experienced that problem.

The game engine, famous for powering Battlefield 4 and the upcoming Mass Effect 4, got its own official Twitter account. This was the platform used for the joke that was an epic fail.

One of the admins from Frostbite Engine official Twitter page tweeted that the graphics engine are now available for the Wii U. It was further added that both Mario and Zelda are running on the Frostbite 3 engine.

It didn’t end there. The admin went on tweeting about Half Life 3 which will debut this summer on the Wii U. This was later accompanied by a claim which revealed that the developers have fixed and optimized the ‘netcode’ for the Wii U.

The three different tweets are more than enough to suggest that EA has some fallout with Nintendo. Instead of it being a joke, gamers are seeing as some war of words going on. After all, EA has dropped all support for the console from Nintendo.
