Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 2 Android 4.3 Update Release Confirmed

The release date for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has been confirmed by French telecommunication giant, SFR. The update is revealed to be for the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and even the HTC One. SFR’s announcement confirmed the speculations that have been going on and about in the internet.

It is no secret that the new update will equip these devices with the Bluetooth LE support. This means that the Samsung Galaxy Gear will become compatible along with future wearables that have been rumoured.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update needs to go through more tests before coming for a release. Unlike iOS, the Android operating system is far more open hence the tests need to be done quite extensively. It isn’t all that bad since it is at the last stages prior to release.

Like all previous update, the 4.3 update is confirmed to be rolled out over-the-air. On the other hand, owners of older Samsung devices like the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 will have to wait a while more before they can get the update. It is not that long of a wait since it is expected to be in November.

While it may be joyful news for most, nothing is heard on the Galaxy S4 Active, S4 Zoom and S4 mini Android 4.3 update.
