Pokemon X & Y Guide: Rare Monochrome, Zygarde, Mega Stones…

So you are done with the Pokémon X and Y? Have you really tried all of the features available on the game? They are not like the other Pokémon games, you see. In case you are wondering what else to do, try these on for size!

The Rare Monochrome Pokémons

Have you ever even come across the Monochrome Pokémons? Leaked images on Gamnesia first suggested the existences of the Monochrome Pokémon. This is the rarest Pokémons of all. We are not sure whether these Pokémons actually exists or somehow just a glitch. What we do know, they are out there and they are extremely rare with only a handful of forum goers showing it in the wild.

Mega Evolution

There are 26 Mega Evolutions on the Pokémon X and Y games. Have you gotten them all? To get a mega evolution for your Pokémon, you would need a Mega Ring and your Pokémon has to posses its Mega Stone which also has to be the same type as your Mega Ring. Each Pokémon have their specific Mega Stone that is needed for its Mega Evolution. You first have to get these Mega Stones before your Pokémons can get their Mega Evolutions.

The Z Pokemon

The Xerneas Pokémon is the exclusive legendary Pokémon for Pokémon X while the Yvetal Pokémon is the exclusive legendary Pokémon for Pokémon Y game. But, there is one legendary Pokémon that these two games have in common. The third legendary Pokémon is called Zygarde. Zygarde is harder to catch since it has a higher level. Zygarde special moves are Camouflage, Dragon Pulse, Crunch and Earthquake. If you want to find Zygarde, Go to Terminius Cave on Route 18. The cave is like a huge maze and there are a lot of items that can be found there.

There are also new areas opened up and challenges unlocked after you have completed the games. Other than that, enemies you battled before are also tougher. Having a rematch with them is a whole different thing now. So don’t think you’re done with the games just yet!
