In a matter of months from now, Samsung will be launching the Note 5. There is a strong anticipation for the next-gen phablet and this is because it looks set to come out with 4K screen resolution.
However, this does not mean that the Note 5 will be the pioneer in 4K display. A new report from China surfaced online yesterday and it revealed that the ZTE Star 3 is going to be the first ever smartphone with 4K display.
The word is that the Star 3 will come out with a 5.5” screen that is capable of running at 2160x3840p resolution. This translates to a pixel density of 806ppi. The sweetest thing is that the display will be made of a special crystal structure that promises great energy efficiency.
As exciting as this sound, it is still wise to take the above with a pinch of salt. After all, the above is considered as a speculation that is pending for confirmation.
