In Korea, two brands are major players in the smartphone industry. There is Samsung with its Note 2 and LG with its G2. Both devices might be of age today but there is still no telling on which of the two is better. As such, the following comparison was made.
Having a larger 5.55” Super AMOLED screen, the Galaxy Note 2 surely offers 267ppi which is great. However, the LG G2 5.2” screen is greater as it offers 423ppi.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 2 runs on the Samsung Exynos quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and accompanied by 2GB RAM. The G2 is so much faster as it runs on the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM.
Again, the G2 fared better in terms of camera. The 13MP rear shooter out-performed the 8MP on the Galaxy Note 2. On the downside of it, the G2 rear camera lacks that digital image stabilization feature.
Another setback with the G2 is the fact that its 32GB internal storage can’t be expanded at all. The 32GB Galaxy Note 2 comes with an expandable microSD slot.
All in all, the G2 is a better device for speed seekers and display freaks out there. Aside from that, the Note 2 scored better. It all depends on the users’ preferences as both the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the LG G2 have their pros and cons.
