We have heard that a carrier testing Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 has run into an issue and this has meant that some owners have not got the update to Jelly Bean 4.3 in 2013. It has been said that the update may be offered to the handsets towards the end of January.
In the US Jelly Bean 4.3 updates started to roll out for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 in November of last year, with many handset having got updated.
However it seems that there are many handsets that are yet to get the update, but major updates to Jelly Bean 4.3 have rolled out, with some of the smaller carrier having sent out the update.
The French carrier SFR are working on releasing the Jelly Bean 4.3 update which they aimed to send out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 by the end of 2013, but issues have stopped them from sending it out and it is now looking as though it will be January before owners get the update.
Many of the carriers have been keeping quiet about the Jelly Bean 4.3 update as issues and bugs have forced carriers to hold it back for the 4G Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It is now looking as though owners won’t see the update on their handsets until January.
