Last night, Samsung unveiled two new smartphones and they are the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5. Both devices are thin (6.9mm and 6.7mm respectively) and also have a full metal unibody. The Galaxy A5, in particular, created a new record in smartphone’s thickness.
Also, Samsung shed some details on some of the features that are coming to both devices. First and foremost is the 5MP front cameras that should take the perfect selfies.
Aside from that, the A3 will sport an 8MP rear camera, 4.5” QHD AMOLED screen, microSD support, 4G LTE connectivity and the TouchWiz UI. The A5, on the other hand, enjoy more powerful hardwares. The list includes a 13MP rear camera, 5” HD AMOLED display, microSD support, 4G LTE connectivity and TouchWiz UI.
Both smartphones are expected to make their debut before the month end but it is unfortunate to learn that their release are limited to China, and a small handful of other markets. Perhaps, Samsung has something bigger in store for the global market.
