Resident Evil 7 is the next major title to come from Capcom and it will look to break away from the third-person action shooter genre that was introduced since Resident Evil 4.
In detail, Resident Evil 7 will look to restore the horror elements like how it was in the series’ first trilogy. This is something most of the fans have been wanting as they hated the new direction in the last Resident Evil trilogy.
Of course, the claims on Resident Evil 7 being horrifying was made after a leak screenshot of the title appeared online. It basically shows the game being played at Racoon City, which is the setting in the series first trilogy.
As such, horror is bound to return as there is a chance for Resident Evil 7 to be a slight remake of the first three titles in the franchise. Then again, it is still too early to predict the outcome for Resident Evil 7 but judging from the leak, the game is worth the anticipation.
