E3 will be kicking off in exactly a week from now and it will see many game developers announcing on upcoming titles. For Capcom, they are expected to give everyone a first glimpse at the next Resident Evil title which is tentatively called Resident Evil 7.
Capcom has already teased that Resident Evil 7 is going to be built on the horror genre and this has got the fans on overdrive. This is further evident after a screenshot of Resident Evil 7 got leaked online.
The screenshot revealed that Resident Evil 7 is going to take place in Racoon City. Racoon City is the location setting for the first Resident Evil trilogy and back then, everything revolves around horror. Hence, this suggests that Resident Evil 7 is going to be horrifying.
While it all sounds exciting, we highly recommend fans to not have too much hope for this, at least until Capcom unveils Resident Evil 7 at E3 next week.
