When Capcom announce that the Resident Evil 2 will be remade from the ground up, some fans were worried that they would mess around too much with the game that it would end up ruining the game but based on the last few remake, we think Capcom knows what they are doing when it comes to remakes. It is only new games that they are having trouble getting right.
There is really not a whole lot of details about the remake version of Resident Evil 2 right now but some believe that the beginning image in the Resident Evil 7 could be a clue to the Resident Evil 2 Remake. It is believed that Capcom might be planning to release the Resident Evil 2 Remake with the Resident Evil 7 game which is pretty smart. The Resident Evil franchise popularity has suffered after the last few games and maybe Capcom wants to make sure that the fans would come back by combining the new and the old together into one bundle.
It was also speculated that before the remake version is release, Capcom will be releasing a beta version of the Resident Evil 2 Remake first and that the beta version will be release in January next year.
