PS4 COD Ghosts 720p vs 1080p: Spot The Differences

The Call of Duty: Ghost is finally launched on the PS4. The latest title to add to the Call of Duty franchise has been on some light after reports surfaced on the game running on 720p resolution for the Xbox One. For the PS4, it is advertised as 1080p. However, players can only get the full HD resolution after downloading the update for the game.

Without the update, the single player mode will only run at 720p. The download will be given once the player connects the game to the Internet, via their PS4 console of course. Due to that, we are able to experience the game before the full HD resolution and after. What are the differences?

After viewing the two separate screenshots thoroughly, we found the 1080p resolution to offer a much crispier image. While the 720p resolution looks already great, it has some noise on the small little details and particles.

The COD: Ghost for the next-gen console was launched together with the PS4 a couple of days ago to the North American territories. We will see the release on the Xbox One on November 22. The “normal” version of the game has already reached the other platforms like PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U.

Amazon is already selling off the title and in a week’s time, we will see the Black Friday promotions kicking in. With all that being said, share with us your thoughts on the resolution of the game.
