A lot of people were skeptical when Porsche first announce that their new Porsche Macan was going to come with a four-cylinder engine but it looks like they have started to slowly accept the fact that the engine might be a good change after all as Porsche reported a 40% jump in sales.
Not only did the Macan sales improved by 40% but they also managed to keep it there. In fact, Porsche is confident that it will remain that was for quite some time as they reveal that a lot of buyers of the new Macan are actually new Porsche Macan owners.
Of course, the four-cylinder engine is not the only one pulling the weight. While the base model will be powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four engine, there is also the 3.0 liter V6 engine that will be powering the Macan S, Macan GTS as well as the Macan Turbo.
