The Pokemon community has been experiencing severe unrest after viewing a screenshot that has gone viral. The image, which was the talking point of this week, displays a Tweet from Pokemon which revealed the Pokebank not coming for a release at all.
In addition to that, the Tweet provoked the entire Pokemon fan-base calling them nerds. Some of the Pokemon players are clearly insulted by such a statement and have been carrying out personal investigation to identify the Twitter.
After reviewing the screenshot over and over again, we have uncovered that the image is actually edited.
Firstly, Pokemon twitter account has no history for such a statement. Secondly, Nintendo wouldn’t want to lose out on earnings over in America. Finally, the way the text was laid out is unprofessional and unacceptable.
The “Tweet” was made yesterday in the afternoon at about 3PM which contradicts to Pokemon’s twitter account.
As for the Pokebank, little is known on when it will come for a release. It is certainly best for the players to continuously monitor the eShop in case Nintendo decides to opt for a surprise release.
