Well, it looks like the wait is not over for Pokemon fans in Asia as it looks like they won’t be the next region to get the Pokemon Go app. After Europe, US, Australia, New Zealand and now Canada, it looks like Niantic next target is South America.
This came after a few Pokemon Go server status site started listing South American servers in their list. Countries that are in the list now includes Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
Since Pokemon originated from Japan, the fans were hoping that Asia would be the first few region to get the update but it looks like they might have to wait a little longer. According to Niantics, they are working on some server issue right now but the fans are not buying it.
Some believe that Niantics might be waiting for their deal with McDonalds to go through before releasing the game in Japan.
