Pokebank: Look What Strange Pokemons Japan Has Dragged In

Pokemon X & Y is probably the best Pokemon game ever made. Not only is it packed with plenty of new features and improvements from previous generation Pokemon games, it is also blessed with external services, particularly the Pokebank.

The Pokebank is an application which allows players to save their Pokemon on cloud storage and also bring over Pokemon from previous versions to the latest X & Y. Following the Pokebank’s re-release in Japan, things have gone pretty sour.

At first, Pokemon X & Y is a clean and safe gaming haven where players experience the virtual adventure of a lifetime. This is no longer the case as the Pokebank has been abused by cheaters that brought hacked Pokemon into the game.

Majority of the Pokemon community has been going to numerous forums to let out their rage. The players are clearly not happy with the hackers polluting the game with hacked Pokemon. Gamefaqs have apparently become the centre where players let out their anger. These complain were actually directed towards Nintendo for failing to secure the Pokebank from the hackers.

The game developer has been going through a rough patch ever since the failed Pokebank’s release back in December last year. While that will require a lot of time for the fans to forget, the game developer should act fast in securing the Pokebank or risk seeing Pokemon X & Y crumbling.

Evidence of hacked Pokemon in X & Y are easy to find. Players can spot them at wondertrade where they can find many level 100 shiny Totodile caught with a Master Ball which sounds impossible and ridiculous. Not only that, eBay has been the platform for these hackers to sell away shiny Lugias.

All in all, it is up to Nintendo to restore Pokemon X & Y to how it was and give the Pokebank that much needed security upgrade.
