What look like a routine maintenance for the PLaystaion Network ended up being more than that as players started having trouble using the Playstation Network service. There were other that reported that they had issues trying to access their games as well.
Not only was the Playstation Network down but some players also reported that they could not enter the Playstation Store as well. Sony has since responded to the crisis on their Twitter page announcing that they are aware of the issues their subscribers has been experiencing with the PSN and that they are looking into it right now.
The same thing happens earlier this year and Sony had to make it up to their users by extending some of the subscription of their members. Depending on how long the issue will last, this time, we might end up getting an even better compensation than the last time. At least that is what we are hoping for.
