The leak video on PlanetSide 2 has been the subject of a buzz in the gaming industry but it was short lived. The buzz got silenced by Sony, who revealed that the video is a hoax and nothing more.
Those are some disappointing comments made by Sony but it is for the best of the fans. Nevertheless, there is no denying that PlanetSide 2 will look to debut very soon.
The MMOFPS will be released to both the PC and the PS4 in a matter of months from now. Of course, this is based on the date found on the PSN Store. The date reads, 26 May this year. On the other hand, the link was dubbed to be nothing more than a placeholder for the PlanetSide 2 game.
The video demonstration revealed that PlanetSide 2 is HUD-less. As such, it is unclear on whether it is the PS4 edition or the PC. All in all, PlanetSide 2 will certainly get released in the near future on the PS4 console.
