Not too long ago, Mercedes announced that it will be giving the existing G-Wagon a facelift. Well, there is more that is happening behind the car manufacturing plant and rumours suggest that Mercedes is producing a smaller version of the G-Wagon.
The mysterious vehicle will have a 7-seater seating arrangement with an extended wheelbase when it arrives in 2019. It will basically look like a crossover between the G-Class and the B-Class. However, handling is expected to be influenced by the A-Class category.
Under the hood, the tiny G-Wagon will run on the Renault 3-cylinder engine. Of course, the bigger engines for the G-Wagon will be produce d by Mercedes themselves. Nevertheless, Renault will also be at the head of development for the 9-speed automatic gearbox.
The Mercedes G-Wagon is something that will appeal to the celebrities. After all, the G-class has always been about the A-listers, not the commoners.
