An earlier rumor suggested that Cadillac might be looking to come out with a small front-drive base sedan in the future and that this new sedan might be based on the Chevrolet Cruze but it looks like that is not the case.
Cadillac stepped out to clarify that they will not be building a model based on the Chevrolet Cruze but what they did not deny was the fact that they might be working on a small front-drive-based sedan.
Based on the previous rumor, it is believed that the new sedan will be called the GT2 and that it might be powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine. It is also believed that we might also see a 2.0-liter turbo four engine being offered.
As exciting as it is, we can’t help but feel that Cadillac offering another sedan might be a little excessive. Why not offer another crossover instead of a sedan?
