While we are happy that Nissan is working on a new Nissan Leaf with a longer range, they will have a hard time competing with the other EV in the market if they do not do something about that exterior design.
Nissan has just confirmed that they are working on a new all-electric Nissan Leaf model that will be powered by a 60kWh battery pack. They, however, did not reveal when the new Leaf with the new battery pack will be arriving. The new 60kWh on the Nissan Leaf should be able to offer their customers about 210 -220miles of range on a full charge
While most people seems to be pleased that the Nissan Leaf will be offering a lot more range now with the new battery, they are also worried that Nissan would decide to only upgrade the battery and leave the design as it is.
The previous design has been heavily criticized but its affordable price kept it on the top. With so much more EV in the market right now, Nissan will have to step up their design game if they do not want to be left behind.
