Here is what we know about the upcoming game Nioh. Players will be playing as William Adams, a samurai. Some fans have criticized the game developer for chosen such a name for a Samurai but it looks like the developers did not just pick the name out from a bucket.
Some samurai fans later pointed out that William Adams is actually a name of a real samurai. The historical figure is one of the few Europeans to have ever become a real samurai.
Koei Tecmo has just released a few screenshots from the game showing William Adams in action as he takes on his enemy with his samurai sword. They also showed off some of his allies which will include Hattori Hanzo, Muneshige and Ginchiyo Tachibana, all important historical figures in Japan.
We do not know when the game will be arriving exactly but we know that the developers will be releasing the demo on PS4 on the 23rd of August.
