Based on Nintendo’s financial report, we already know that the Wii U time here is ending soon as Nintendo reveal the short list of game that the Wii U will still be getting.
Now, Nintendo has also stated that the production for the Deluxe Set and Splatoon bundles is slated to end soon signaling the beginning of the end for the Wii U. The notice was only posted in Japan for the time being but Nintendo of America did speak to Kotaku and say that all Wii U hardware that is available in North America has been shipped to their retail partners.
There were already rumors saying that Nintendo is looking to stop the production of their Wii U in Japan on the 5th of November but Nintendo came out to deny the rumors but the new message on the hardware page seems to suggest otherwise.
