While we do understand why region lock is needed, there is no denying that it can get pretty annoying. Well, luckily for us all, Nintendo decided to do away with it with the new Nintendo Switch console.
Kotaku reported that according to Nintendo, their Nintendo Switch digital store will be region free. All you need to do is connect the account to your country and you are good to go. Nintendo also added that the console will support eight accounts in total.
Even though it is not region lock, Nintendo still advice they fan to buy the games for their region so that they get all the service and support in the future. Of course, we do know that some games will only be released in Japan so you might want to get a Japanese account ready as well.
The new Nintendo Switch will be arriving in March
