Both the Google Nexus 6 and the OnePlus One are two of the best smartphones from last year. There is a huge difference in price between both devices, even though they are built with the latest hardwares around.
However, being older, the OnePlus One is a half-step behind the Google Nexus 6. It runs on the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the Nexus 6 is powered by the newer Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.
The OnePlus One comes with fixed memory of either 16GB of 64GB. The Nexus 6 comes with a fixed internal memory that is expandable to 128GB thanks to microSD support.
In terms of display, the OnePlus One is equipped with a nice 5.5” LTPS LCD screen that runs at 1080p. This is not as sharp as the QHD resolution running on the Nexus 6’s large 5.95” screen.
On a final not, both the OnePlus One and the Nexus 6 are completed with a 13MP rear camera. The former also comes with a powerful 5MP rear camera, which is obviously better than the Nexus 6’s 2.1MP front shooter.
Judging by the technical comparison above, it further proves that the Nexus 6 is superior to the OnePlus One. Then again, the One is 4 times cheaper than the Nexus 6. Considering the subtle differences above, it seems that the OnePlus One is the better purchase here.
