The Geneva Motor Show unveiled many new concepts but the eye candy of them all was the future Ssangyong Rexton. The concept called the XLV amazed the world with its elegant design and great features.
Ssangyong revealed that the XLV stands for ‘eXciting, smart Lifestyle Vehicle’, which is basically what the masses are looking for. The Korean carmaker is dead serious with the XLV and claims that it will be one of its core strategic models coming in the future.
The XLV simply looks ferocious. The choice of matte silver gave it the futuristic touch and the headlamps are kept thin and narrow.
The XLV will be powered by a 1.6-liter diesel engine and an electric motor that sucks juice out of a now-commonplace lithium ion battery pack. Also, the vehicle can fit in 7-passengers comfortably which makes it the ideal family car as well.
While it may not be a powerful car, the fact that it is energy efficient will surely appeal to every SUV lovers. Who knows? It might just be that X5 killer we’ve all been waiting for.
