While people do seems to enjoy what the BMW M5 has to offer with its all-wheel drive system, there were some others that were hoping that BMW would offer it with an RWD system instead. Well, BMW might have heard them because the next BMW M5 will b e coming in with an RWD system.
According to Frank van Meel, the CEO of BMW’s M division, the next BMW M5 will still be an AWD model but unlike the last ew models, this will be coming with a button that will turn the vehicle into a rear wheel drive model if needed.
The BMW M5 getting the new RWD system will mean that drivers will be able to take it for a drift although we don’t think the buyers will be buying it for that reason alone.
Do you think BMW made the right move here?
