NBA 2K14 is the latest and supposedly, the best basketball video game to date. However, fans of this sport are condemning the game to the deep abyss.
For years now, 2K has appealed to basketball lovers worldwide with the NBA gaming series. As the game gets better over the years, the risk for it to go bust increases. Unfortunately, NBA 2K14 became that failure.
On papers, everything about NBA 2K14 sounded amazing. The game is spectacularly designed, the graphics are life-liked and the gameplay are full of innovations. Despite that fact, NBA 2K14 remained accessible. The content is shallow and the abundance of glitches and bugs totally killed it.
On the bright side of things, these major flaws only destroy the official game. It is with great relief that the real sport is not affected by it.
The bottom line is that NBA 2K14 is the death of basketball itself. It is unsure if the fault lies with the PS4 and the Xbox One consoles as things were great on the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Let’s just hope 2K tries harder in the next sequel.
