Mass Effect 4: Bioware Still Vague On When Game Is Set

Fans of the Mass Effect series have all seen the teaser trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect 4 game and not a single individual actually liked what they saw.

After so much anticipation being built, the fans were only treated to a footage which shows the game developers talking about how great Mass Effect 4 will be.

On the downside of things, Bioware has been beating around the bush and avoided mentioning specifics in the teaser trailer. Heck, it shouldn’t even be known as a trailer.

Among the things that worry fans the most is on the period where Mass Effect 4 will take place. While the game might be offering a new protagonist on a new adventure, Bioware confirmed that it will be taking place in the same Mass Effect Universe.

Fans made it known that they are hoping for it to be set far into the future, after the Reaper Wars. On the other hand, fans agreed that a prequel will only destroy the game. To make things worse, Bioware sounded uncertain and avoid the term, ‘sequel’, in the teaser trailer. Fans can check it out at 00:55 minutes in the video.

All in all, Bioware better clarify things fast or they will end up with a huge paranoid fan base. The idea for it to be a prequel is like a poison in the Mass Effect community.
