It seems that Motorola is taking forever to update the G2 with the Lollipop OS. The tech giant has made numerous promises on when they will roll out the Android update but Motorola has failed to deliver.
This has got every G2 users really frustrated. Motorola did attempt to calm the situation down by claiming that they will be skipping Android 5.0 for Android 5.1. Now, it is reported that the highly anticipated update has finally arrive.
The word is that Motorola has already launched the Android 5.1 Lollipop update OTA and Moto G2 users should be receiving the update prompt by now. Unfortunately, G2 users shared with us that they have yet to receive any prompt at all.
Some went to see if there is a manual way to apply the update but all that they got was a broke ZIP link. So is the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the G2 out yet? It hurts us to say this but no.
